How to convert the refrigeration unit of industrial chiller

Industrial chiller is a kind of water cooling equipment. It is a cooling equipment that can provide constant temperature, constant current and constant pressure. The principle of a chiller is to inject a certain amount of water into the internal water tank of the machine. The water is cooled by the chiller refrigeration system, and then the water pump inside the machine injects low-temperature frozen water into the equipment that needs to be cooled. The heat is taken away, and the high-temperature hot water is returned to the water tank again to reduce the temperature. In this way, the cooling is cyclically exchanged to achieve the effect of cooling the equipment.


There are many types of industrial chiller refrigeration units, which is directly related to the different use of refrigeration unit in each region, but after the conversion relationship of refrigeration unit, then you will not have any when calculating industrial chiller Difficulties.


The conversion relationship of various cooling capacity units is as follows:


1. 1Kcal / h (calorie / hour) = 1.163W, 1W = 0.8598Kcal / h;


2. 1Btu / h (British thermal unit / hour) = 0.2931W, 1W = 3.412Btu / h;


3. 1USRT (American cold ton) = 3.517KW, 1KW = 0.228434USRT;


4. 1Kcal / h = 3.968Btu / h, 1Btu / h = 0.252Kcal / h;


Five, 1USRT = 3024Kcal / h, 10000Kcal / h = 3.3069USRT;


Six, 1 horse = 2.5KW (for air-cooled industrial chiller), 1 horse = 3KW (for water-cooled industrial chiller);


Remarks:


1. The "horse" used here, when used in power units, is expressed by Hp (imperial horse) or Ps (metric horse), also known as "horsepower", 1Hp (imperial horse) = 0.7457KW, 1Ps ( Metric horse) = 0.735KW;


2. In general, the refrigeration capacity of small and medium-sized chiller units is often expressed as "horsepower", and the refrigeration capacity of large-scale chiller units (such as large air-conditioning refrigeration units) is often represented as "cold ton (American cold ton)".


The above cooling capacity conversion relationships are the most commonly used in industrial chillers. Of course, these conversion relationships can also be calculated by software. As long as the value is entered, the results can be directly calculated, which is simple and fast.
